Zambia

From here, in 1970, I went to Zambia on a three year contract to set up a 500 sow breeding and fattening unit. I had been assured that building work would be finished by the time I arrived. In fact no site work had been done. No bush clearance, no buildings and no services. Also I was expected to manage a large established farm growing maize and sunflowers.
