Ian Campbell Thomson

Finally

Back home I joined a pig breeding company but finally got back to managing 1000 sow pig unit for a businessman owner. Ten years later, three years off retirement I was back in the company structure as a production manager.

Retirement has not been unproductive. Many articles and stories have found their way into magazines. My first article - about Exmoor ponies - was published in the Scottish Farmer. My first short story went into The Sunday Post. Other journals to which I have contributed include, Farmers Weekly, Pig Farming, Smallholder and Cat World and I have read my short stories on BBC Radio Oxford.

Work in Progress: yes there is something going on. After my successes with the Hired Lad and Manager by Appointment I am now working on my times in Africa. It is written and will be out shortly.

If you have read this far I thank you. I wish you well.
